From October 10 to 15, 2023, numerous incidents occurred in Myanmar. Twenty-nine refugees were killed, including nine children, in a military airstrike on a camp near Laiza City in Kachin. Cambodia’s former prime minister and Japan’s representative for Myanmar National Reconciliation agreed to visit Myanmar together for peace mediation. Various groups declared the Nationwide Ceasefire Agreement null on its eighth anniversary. Additionally, over 1,300 people were detained for criticising the regime on social media, and the military continued violations against civilians.
